I got these yellow fleshed melon seeds from Sampleseeds and planted 2 in my community garden plot as they are smaller, early and short vined melons. They are beautiful healthy vines and have produced 10 melons so far and still setting on. The 2 I've picked are around 5 lbs. which is just right for the 2 of us, just having a hard time deciding when they're ripe. The first was very sweet and juicy, had a nice yellow ground spot, the second had a nice ground spot and very juicy but not very sweet. I've never grown watermelons successfully before so I'm pleased with them so far. They are hybrids mature at just over 70 days.

They sound perfect for growing in an urban garden!
