Well I am going to have to adjust to gardening in Texas but I am sure I will have fun doing so. Just keep them SVB buggers away from my punkins and squash.

Boy what a wild ride these last few months! Sorry I have not been in touch folks.Well we are still in Bryan OH.my sis and her family are staying at a local motel and I am staying at my girl friends place.Just got internet today and I have MY comp at long last.Where I was I had very little computer access so that is why I have not been on to let the everyone know how things are going. So here is my update. My sis and bil got a new van and just a couple weeks after they got it we all had flashbacks cuz the blasted trany went out on that as well.talk about luck . on a brighter note at least we are not in limbo like we where in Indy.Oh yes the van will be back on the road Friday.
Since we are in Bryan and I needed a check up I decided to get in touch with my original heart doc.Well as luck would have it I wound up seeing him the hard way and wound up in the hospital for three days. The good news is my arteries are clear and my doc ordered three months worth of my meds so I don't need to worry about them with refills ta boot.Been having to take it easy but at least we are all safe.
There is some debate on whether I we will go on to Texas or stay here in Bryan with Linda and her daughter. If I stay Linda ,Becky and myself are in an apartment. We can have a container garden as long as it is kept tidy.just a few maters ,peppers and herbs .A far cry from what my family wanted.Nothing is etched in stone so I do not know for sure what will happen.
Also pray for my nephew in-law.As some here know he is stationed at Fort Hood. Word came out not to long ago he will be deployed to Afghanistan soon.hearing all the stories we have all heard from there I do fear for his safety and the safety of his fellow soldiers.God let them all come home soon.
Kevin
P.S.
Just got internet yesterday afternoon.Linda and Becky are pretty happy about that so we have more ta do.

Well folks I am home after a weekend in the Temple hospital. God blessed me with some great doctors and nurses . What I was transferred to Temple for is they thought there was a problem with my aorta lining being separated in one spot and Harker Hights could not handle such issues . But much to the doctors relief as well as mine this was not the case . The whole problem revolved around an alergic reaction which developed over time to my prescription to lisinopril which is a blood presure med. so be warned if you are prescribed this med you may after time develop an allergic reaction which involves swelling in the extremities which is inflamed and at times it itches . also can lower your blood pressure to near dangerous low levels. so be on guard if you your loved ones or your friends take this drug it can be dangerous. Some other good news I forgot to mention. Since I last saw my Doctor in Bryan earlier this year my heart function is up 9% and I have lost 15 pounds . A great victory thanks to the help and good care of my doctors and nurses And the good Lord looking after me. This is one reason I have not been very active on the forum this year. hope to change that dramatically. I have missed everyone. Merry Christmas. Kevin

I am glad to hear that you are all right and they were able to figure out your problem. What a frightening experience that must have been!
Keep up the good work with the weight loss and congratulations on regaining some heart function. That's great news.
Merry Christmas to you, too!

When they took me to Temple they hustled me to the trauma unit just in case. I am very pleased with my gains though surprised . my goal is to loose at least 20 pounds more to bring me under 300 pounds which will be closer to an ideal weight.

As a person with many drug allergies, i appreciated this information. Power to you, brother Yes it is good news. When they told me what was going on I was worried about my online garden family as I know several people who have some form of cardio problems.Sure enough two on other forums are having the same symptoms . I don't wan't to see anyone have to land in the hospital because of this drug . Scary thing is it is very commonly prescribed so folks need to know ALL the side effects .I found out the reason why this side effect is not on the list is the FDA said only 0.1 percent showed these symptoms .
