DLD have you been reading that crack pot with all the home made recipies to spray (mostly) on gardens? I can't think of his name right now.
My disparagement of him aside, I guess the question you have to answer (for yourself) is: what're you spraying to fix?
Folar feeding serves mostly (I suspect) to make the gardener feel better.
Manures and compost have low enough numbers of N/P/K. I'll take the end of the wager Gatoraide's n-p-k are lower still. If your gardnen didn't get fed by the shovelful, whats a fraction of a teaspoon going to do?
So whats gatoraide supposed to fix?
My mind-set is feed them at the start, liberally. Not after the fact with an eyedropper.

The sugar content would make things like sooty mold go crazy.

And the rest is potassium salts. Probably not a good thing for plants.
