As I've just passed the 15 month anniversary of tennis elbow, it gets tiring, to say the least. I last had it at the end of 2002. Do you have any tips on overcoming it or at least getting along with it?

Used to have a problem with tennis elbow many years ago as a baseball player trying to throw pitches I should not have been trying. Or at least work on mechanics so not to stress the elbow so much. So here's what the trainers told me: There is only one way to cure tennis elbow and that is not do what aggravates the joint. That means rest the sore part. To stop the pain apply ice but no longer than twenty minutes at a time, let the joint warm back up for half an hour, then apply ice again for twenty minutes. Do not apply heat to a sore joint..EVER. Above all DON'T DO WHAT CAUSES YOUR ELBOW TO GIVE YOU PAIN. Rest, rest, rest until it is healed.

Thanks Paul! I'll have to give much more rest.
