"Danish Flag", the most beautiful poppy ever. Volunteer calendula in the foreground. "Tashkent" marigold. Gorgeous when you see it for real. Petunia in foreground. "American Melon" (free seed from Baker Creek) & Garlic to the right. Catnip in container. House in background! Scented stocks. Not much to look at but aroma is nice. Seed from Baker Creek.

Very nice piccies, Horsea! That Danish Flag is one pretty Poppy. I do like Marigolds and Petunias. Are those the type of Stock that are fragrant at dusk? I used to grow Night-Scented Stock from Seeds of Change. Or was it called Evening-Scented Stock? They weren't as tall as yours and had a nice smell near dark.

A cluster of Danish Flag is breathtaking. That's all I want to grow, now. Yes, the stocks open up and smell nice & strong in the evenings. Thanks for compliment, Strat. I guess my photos are hazy because they aren't taken with a digital camera; they are on celluloid and then scanned on an old machine. The original pictures are better quality, nice 'n' sharp, but how you would transfer that quality to a computer screen, I don't know.

YVW, Horsea.
Very striking flowers. I even showed them to my Mom. She liked Danish Flag; we've also not seen ones like those.
