Gardening should be fun.

I had a bad cuc year 2013 so I want to try some new varieties in 2014. I am thinking about Little Leaf. It is parthenocarpic and can be grown in a tunnel. 2012 I had cuc beetles but few in 2013. I usually grow Super Zagross which is an OP burpless variety much like Diva. Yields were good previously but 2013 was just bad all around for this crop. They don't hold well at market but I figure why grow the same thing everyone else has. Growing pickling cucs can be like growing green beans or canning tomatoes- a lot of work picking and people just call around to find the cheapest prices. ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/3247375/images/xBUm2oJh3gJvTO8Vuitf.png)
