Yes, a brand new look for us here at NJT! Our newest member "tressa" has designed a new Vegetable Gardening theme for us here and I want to thank her very much for the hard work she has put into it and after all... she put up with me thru it all... lol!! If your not using the default theme you just might want to check it out

I like it!
But when I logged in the theme went back to blue even though I use "default" setting. But easily fixed by going to settings and selecting "garden" theme.

Where can one change the theme? I consider myself pretty internet savvy, but I have spent a very long time today trying to find a "settings" spot where I can change things.
The blue is nice, but I'd like to take a peek at this garden theme!

The blue is nice, but I'd like to take a peek at this garden theme! Click on the "profile" button... (it's under the banner)... Click on "edit profile"... Click on "settings"... Scroll down till you see "forum theme" Click the button and look for the theme called "Garden" prolly towards the bottom of the list... Than scroll down to bottom and accept.

Looks like a friendly place with lots of valuable information! Delighted you have joined us Tressa!!! No problems with new theme, and I especially like the creativity of Green peppers turning to red for new posts alert instead of a file folder!

But Wait---there's more creative fun for identifying threads---just noticed yellow peppers and also red hot chili peppers(for hot topics)!
Cool Beans!

Didn't I tell you I had fun? Got rid of the boring images in the Forum Info and Statistics box, too.

Thank you- I missed that there were tabs in the profile section. The garden theme is beautiful! Makes me smile as we're dipping back into sub-zero highs and snow falling.

The new theme looks great! Hey, Dld. The forum width displays narrower with it!?!

And now our location is displayed. I've been meaning to suggest that. Read my mind!

When converted to v5, forums no longer showed location in the mini-profile unless added in by a staff member. I had added the feature to my STO forum and was missing it here. Asked Dld if he would like me to add it here and he agreed. Really nice to be able to see where someone is located when reading about their garden.

Thanks, Tressa - nice theme! And welcome to the board!
Mine didn't start automatically, either, so I had to use dude's method to change the setting. Works great!

Mine changed automatically and do think it is great. Now just wish a few other proboard forums would follow and do the same.

daylilydude made an adjustment that fixed it so that you would see the garden theme unless you had chosen a theme other than the blue default one. There are still other themes available if you don't like the Garden. Thanks again for the welcomes. You have a great forum here.

The new theme really brightens things up and I sure like it. Makes me even more ready for Spring.

Ummm....maybe I am blind, but I can't find the "default" or "vegetable garden" theme in the theme list any more. Is it gone?

The default or" garden", as it is now listed, is there. I liked the Easter background with the eggs.

Huh, there it is in the list. I sure didn't see it before. It's one of the two themes I favor when I am not using a holiday/special event theme. (The other is "Indian Corn.")
