Hello all. Heirloom gardener from Memphis in the great state of Tennessee. Come from a long line of small scale agricultural practitioners. Currently gardening in an urban setting primarily utilizing the square foot raised bed method. Selecting for compact heirloom vegetable varieties(the exception being indeterminate tomatoes and certain melons) that are well suited for those with limited space but who desire the nutritional density and superior taste of homegrown vegetables and fruit. Proud to have spun a mini revolution amongst many of my close family and friends. The garden bug is quite contagious especially when one realizes how easy it can be when using a method like SFG. Look forward to conversing with all here.

If your garden is wheelchair accessible your CIL (center for independent living) has some tomato growers, You may have co-conspiritors in Memphis.
