After a miserable winter with Seasonal Affective Disorder almost debilitating me, the sun and warm weather has sparked the life in me again! This past week I've been out side from morning till dark working. Today I managed to get the ground tilled for my garden. I was late in getting my tomato seedlings started, but I know they'll catch up soon enough. Anyhow, I just stopped in to say hello and that I hope to be a frequent participant on this board this summer. I LOVE growing tomatoes...among other things. Just call me V for short. V.

Hi, V. Good to see you back. Yes, it was a grueling Winter that never seemed to go away. I'm glad you've perked right back up with the sunny days and warm temps. Look forward to hearing about your garden adventures. By the way, where are you gardening?

I've got several different kinds growing but to be honest, I can't find my list so I'll have to wait until I have time to sort them out. I would guess at 20-25 different kinds. I'm so busy getting the ground tilled and the pool open that I really haven't had time to do anything but water them. Once I get my list, I'll come back and post.
Btw...I'm in SE Michigan.

Hi, V. Those are some interesting colors, shapes and flavors, for sure. It's going to be fun. I'm gardening 1/2 hour north of Bay City.

virraszto, great list you have there, I have heard of most of those except the one called "Morning Sun"... can you give any details on it?? This is my first year growing Morning Sun. I got the seed off ebay and here is the description from Tatiana's Tomato Base. It's a small yellow grape tomato. Morning Sun See link "Indet., regular leaf, early and reliable fruit set. Fruits are small and oval shaped, bright golden yellow color, 1.5" long, grow in trusses of 5-8. Very good sweet flavor. Very high yields. Excellent in salads, or can be dehydrated for a delicious tomato snack. Early maturing." I'll come back after it produces and write a review.

Is the weather cooperating with your garden? From week to week Kansas can't decide which season we're in.

The weather is holding out, but my knees aren't...lol
Every year, it seems like I have more plants than I have space, so I have to keep tilling more space. I just had hubby till me up another 12 ft and even that's not going to be enough ;(
