I have CTS. For a long time, the pain was nearly unbearable. My doctor wanted me to go through surgery, but several of my friends have had poor results from the operation. The other alternative was to get shots every few months. I didn't like that option either. I found copper and magnet bracelets in a flea market and felt I had nothing to lose by trying one on each hand. I was shocked by the effectiveness. I permanently wear two copper/magnet bracelets on each wrist. Never got the operation and only tried the shots once. The pain is mild to occasionally moderate, but definitely manageable.

My husband is a plumber and had carpal tunnel in both wrists for a while. He had acupuncture and it went away.

there is a twisting thing people do with a stick, people turning over wine bottles have been doing it for over a hundred years, they stop and do it every 15 min. of turning the bottles, gets rid of Carpal tunnel syndrome fast. to bad I forgot how to do it, but it is really easy

I thought about acupuncture. I've read it can fix my other ailments too. Is it a permanent fix or does he need to regularly repeat treatment?

I have trouble with carpel tunnel every year. I get it in both wrists. I also had trigger thumb. Different things set it off. Crocheting in the winter, or vacuuming the pool in the summer are two big triggers. I'm not going to crochet at all this winter to see how I do.
Last summer I had CT in both hands at the same time. Before that I was about 2 weeks away from getting surgery for trigger thumb when all pain and swelling magically disappeared. I haven't had trouble with the trigger thumb since, even though the hand surgeon said if I didn't get surgery, and it would never get better, only worse and I would eventually lose use of it.
I think I'll give those copper/magnet bracelets a try. Can't hurt.

I found the thing I had forgotten before the device (actually just a stick) is sold here with instructions, wristwand.com/ (and amazon has them for 5$ ) and if you already have a stick, then just watch this to see how it is done it fixed me years ago when I was in lots of pain, and is super easy to try I just did it about every 20 min. when typing at the computer

The best thing for carpel tunnel problems is take vitamin B6 in fairly large doses -it gets rid of it in no time and is a proven cure, just B6 and nothing else.

I have built agricultural fences for 20 yrs or so and have severe CT in my L wrist and bad in my R. Was thinking on the surgery but tried the shot in my L wrist and it worked wonders. Hope it keeps on doing its job for a while.
If not, I will try some of the remedies seen here.
