materman, Here's a pic from this afternoon at Annette's. I was out planting a couple more tomatoes and remembered my camera. She texted me to watch out for the electric fence. I made myself a note and carried it in my hand. Success. The plant has green leaves on the bottom and then they change as you go up. This is a life-like color representation.

i have 2 of 15 f1 plants that look like that. The f1 is (f1 x op) x op. I yanked both of them, rejected. i put them in a container, but really don't think that trait has any value, and is more likely detrimental, unless there is some gene linkage with another valuable trait i suppose.

Yes stratcat, your pic looks close to what I have and did not know they had a pale leaf Mortgage Lifter. Mine is a West Virginia line and after researching it, isn't suppose to look like it does. still looks cool the pale foliage. Here is a pic of a bunch i have growing in the front yard for all passer by's to stare at and wonder what they are.

So nobody screeches to a stop, jumps out of the car, and starts pouring Miracle Grow all over them? hahahaha!
