Has anyone here grown, or at least tried to grow (to maturity) the unusual variety called LITTLE WHITE RICE BEAN? Thanks. I'd love to take a crack at it if only because they are so unusual.
Also, I'd like to know where I might find the seed. Heritage Harvest Seed (in Canada) says they don't have any this year. I look on the w.w.web and can't find a thing. I was wondering if it maybe goes by a different name.

I grew a bean that has seeds like it, but they were not white, got the seeds at a grocery store that had lots of fun things, they were sold as food, no memory of if they did anything or not, but most things failed where I lived at the time due to lack of sun

horsea Hi there, I grew 'Little White Rice' this year, not many, just enough to refresh my seed. I bought them from Heritage Harvest Seed a few years back. I can't send many but enough to get you started. Contact me with your snail mail addy and I'll pop a few in the mail. 'Little White Rice' is just a smidgen bigger in size than 'Comtesse de Chambord' another little rice bean.
