hi guys. Qandala here - I live in Melbourne Australia and have just moved into a new house, which, of course, means getting my stuff together and starting my edible garden right back up. I think I'm going to take winter off however and jump in knees deep come Spring. This forum truly looks to be a great resource in this endeavor however.
Looking forward to the chill sesses.

Thanks guys - but by time off I nmeant I may be pushing it too late to plant winter veg so I'm going to take winter off gardening (maybe) and resume in Spring. Life is just hectic - wife and I have a baby on the way, I've had some health issues. Just a bit to work out. Will keep you all posted here and on my blog which I will publicise in time.
Thanks for the welcomes. Looking forward to finding my legs here.

So when you say you will resume gardening in Spring, you mean our Autumn, is that correct? So when would you be putting seeds in, around August or September? Or would that be too early? Welcome.

Yes, autumn for you weird northern hemispherians. It'd generally be mid-September. Maybe give a few things a head start late August in a portable greenhouse.
