First, let me say that I am really impressed with the info on this forum but I have barely looked at it yet. Can't wait to check it all out. I found this site on Phil's phorum and I am so glad. I like gardening and am hoping to learn more and more from this and other select forums I go to and mayby get better at saving some seeds as well. Thanks very much for another good forum. I look forward to visiting often. I'm from n. Ca. Thanks again.

Welcome. This site is still new, but growing every day. It is a great site because there are many great members here. So many other gardening sites have become "all manure, but no produce". Here is what the internet is all about...learning & sharing, NOT about ranting/raving, playing ego-trips, and trying to discredit others & their methods. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to gardening. By reading what does/doesn't work for one, we all pick up pointers that will (hopefully) put tastier foods on our tables.

Thanks for the welcome folks, I know some of you and others are new to me I think but you can't know too many gardeners. I have to grow with one of the people I work for cause I don't have the room but we did well. I'm cooking a turban type squash right this moment I sampled cold earlier(I'm no squash person) and it tasted just like a yam so I'm venturing out some. So I will see how that turns out plus I plan to save the seeds just in case it is as good as I think it will be. Can't wait for spring, sick of this damp cold weather. Hang in there everyone. Glad to see the chat, gonna check it out on Wed. Have a good week all.
