My vice in recent years has grown rather far afield from yours. If you ever run into a tree geek in Britain mention me to him or him to me. I am still in search of Q robur of your locale.
Like the Cavendish banana, every Q Robur here is the child or (many times) great grandchildren of a solitary hybrid of an american white oak and your oak (robur). With the same inherent peril of disease susceptibility.
So I need to get close to your brother tree guy, over on your side of the pond. Thanks.
