At least the three of us down in the chat box area ran across this pop up box that superimposed on the message board screen and said we had to click on it to save our profile data. I wish now that I had reacted slower and not clicked on it. The form said it would continue to appear unless we click, which seems like kind of a malware type of threat. Maybe it is legitimate, but doesn't make a lot of sense to me why our profile data needed to be saved again, if it's already attached to our account. Richard, can you please find out from Proboards what's going on here?

september, no need to worry, the only part of your profile that is being saved is the "theme" that you are using. If you look under your avatar there on the left you will see it showing which theme you're using... and let me splain why... It's just there so when proboards makes the upgrade to V-6 there are going to be problems with some of the themes and it will make it a little easier for me to help make changes to themes if I know which ones members are using if that makes any sense? Now if y'all feel uncomfortable about this I can turn that plugin off... just let me know?

I'm fine with it, now that I understand why it was there.

Thanks for the explanation -- glad to hear it's something you yourself turned on. Can't be too vigilant these days with all the sneaky ways hackers have of inserting stuff where it isn't expected! I appreciate all the choices of themes you provide, and if some won't work in the new format, I will happily switch to another one. I know you bend over backwards to provide a nice site to visit! Thanks for your time and efforts!
