I'm leaning toward doing it for a few things such as, lettuce, squash, cukes, and greens. I may not get around to it this year, though.

I use it in the 4x4 sections of raised beds. For those of us who live in tiny urban yards and must keep the garden patch small, it allows for an organized space with a maximum of return. I don't use the suggested soil mix or fertilizer mix but I do follow the # of plants per square foot theory.

I have been space limited for gardening for a long time now counting the square foot for each plant as well as the sun each plant gets seems to work well
now I finally have enough space to try something else. so get back to you in a year and tell you how using vast open spaces works
