Hi, I'm new here. I live near Salt Lake City, in an area that is in the 6b zone. This is my first year doing heirloom/seed-saving stuff. It's sounded interesting to me for a couple years, and now I'm finally going to give it a shot. I ordered a bunch of seeds from BC and {shrug} we'll see what grows! My husband and I have a 1/2 acre ag-zoned property. We have dairy goats and chickens, and sometimes calves. We also have a big puppy (Great Dane) and a cat. It's our teeny-tiny micro-farm. So I have space for a decent-sized garden, but not a huge one. I'll only be planting a little of each thing. It will be fun, though. I have a blog, but it isn't only about gardening. It's at: michiedo.blogspot.com . Anyway! I look forward to some exciting chats about growing stuff. Emily

Welcome! Sounds like a really nice setup you've got set up there.

Welcome. By growing intensively, you can get a lot of produce from a not too big garden.
