If you could only pick three edible plants to grow, what would they be, and what are your reasons for just those?

Tomatoes: so many varieties, so little time. green beans: love to eat them, hate to pick. peaches: need some fruit to go along with the vegetables.

Peppers, Beans and Tomaotes. Because there are such an amazing variety of all 3 of those. AND that is what is mostly planted in my garden now!

Corn for versatile uses. Potatoes for ease of growth and multiple uses. Pears for fruit, due to being indigenous to our area and relatively easy to grow.

Tomatoes and peppers, for sure, since I can't find anything like the ones I grow to buy anywhere. And greens, even though many of those I can buy.

Tomatoes, Peppers and Lettuce.
I thought really hard about choosing kale instead of lettuce, but A BKT just won't cut it.

but A BKT just won't cut it. Gotta ask... have you tried this? Here it would be collards, sweet banana peppers and tomatoes.

Tomatoes, Peppers and asparagus.
I cook with lots of tomatoes and I freeze enough sweet bell peppers to last all winter. Store bought bell peppers have lots of pesticide residue.
The taste of store bought asparagus does not even come close to mine.

Maybe a nibble here and there or a few slivers in cole slaw with cabbage, but I far prefer it cooked. I cannot imagine a bacon, tomato, and cooked pile 'o greens sandwich satisfying any kind of craving.

Tomatoes and potatoes for calories, onions to prevent the teeth from falling out!

Blueberries - just because. Tomatoes - so many uses, and they are yummy. Lettuce, especially the Battavian crisps.
Too bad butter isn't a vegetable, or it would be on my list too.

For vegetables: sweet potatoes, beans, and kale. For fruit blueberries, apples, and peaches. Then secondary vegetable: fish, turkey, eggs.
