I'd like to add some 'personal smiley' faces to the currently available ones. Years ago on another forum I tracked some really cute ones down, but am having a hard time finding classic/vintage examples. Does anyone have a link or suggestion where to find some older style ones?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look around there.
Question 2.. If/when I find some personal smileys I like, where on the board can I add them? Somewhere in my profile?
Thanks.
<------ this one was entered separately as an image, but that would be too tedious.

First go to your Profile. Then go to Edit Profile. Next, select the Settings tab. Scroll down and under Your Personal Smilies there are lines there to add all the smilies you want. Make sure you save after each addition. Note that when you paste the code from sherv.net, you need to delete some of the code that you copied over. I don't know if it's like that everywhere you can pick up emoticons, but that is the case with sherv. When you paste your code you will want to delete all of the information at the beginning and the end of the link that is in brackets. What you are left with in your profile looks like this: www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/everyday/relaxing-smiley-emoticon.gifAnd will result in THIS when you save it:

ladymarmalade, Thank you so much for the information. Adding each one is an experience, lol. I'm not a computer person, so I'm sure it's me. I found a site for old-style, classic smileys - which always make me smile. www.pic4ever.com/3Goin' back in...

It's really hard to copy code as plain text and get it to read as plain text.

Another of the problems I was having is caused by me still using a version of IE. To make adding the smileys actually work, I had to switch over to Chrome.

Gianna, ladymarmalade, Just to give y'all some up front news when the V-6 version comes out (Which is in the alpha stage right now) there are going to be a bunch of the smileys in it and no need to upload any.

Thanks for the info DLD. I'm not uploading more because there are not enough smileys here, but because it's fun, and I have a fondness for certain older ones I"ve used elsewhere. Can't be in the garden all the time. Even here in SoCal.
