We were talking about air fryers and such in another thread so I thought it would be neat to see what everyone has for their kitchen/cooking gadgets? Here we have the Nu-Wave Oven, West Bend electric pressure cooker, Kitchen-Aide stand mixer, Oster 18qt. roaster oven, Crock-pot slow cooker and a Presto 16qt pressure caner and not enough counter space...lol! How about you?

When we built our new home 17 years ago I got a pantry closet with shelves built in the hallway next to the kitchen. It was a great decision and I don't have gadgets taking up counter space. I love it.
I have:
rice cooker (never use it) Cuisinart food processor (love it) quesadilla maker (love it) blender (rarely use it) crock pot (use it often) fry baby deep fryer (use it about once a year) regular drip coffee maker (don't like the waste from those K-cups) coffee mill to grind coffee beans (use it once in a while) dehydrator (love it but only use in the fall for fruits and herbs)
I am considering an Instant Pot but I want to make sure that I will keep using it before I buy one so I am looking at recipes and giving it quite a bit of thought first.

I love it. That sounds great. I have a small kitchen with limited counters so I store some of my electric gadgets elsewhere. -Food processor. Old, Cuisinart. -Vitamix - love it. Use it more in the summer. -30 year old kitchenaid mixer. Don't use it often, but when I do, it's essential. -Induction 'hot plate'. Have used it for melting wax for candles, but have cooked with it only once or twice. Would not want to cook with it regularly. -Microwave. Don't cook much besides veggies in it, but could not live without it for making tea and heating up things. Also, two food dehydrators - L'equip and Excalibur. Do these count as kitchen gadgets?

I have a 40 year old (yes, you did read that right - I got it for Christmas '77) Farberware countertop convection oven! No electronics, the reason for the long life. A 10 x 15 pan fits in it, and I can bake 3 loaves of bread in it (just did it last night again!). Hundreds of loaves of bread have baked in that.
The Instant Pot, which replaced the rice cooker (which I used to use all the time, with all that Asian food I make), the pressure cooker, and the slow cooker, and I use it a lot.
A VitaMix, which I use more than any other gadget, given all the smoothies I make, as well as the Mexican sauces and pastes I make. And nothing makes soups as smooth - just made one last night that had a dried chili pepper (think skin and seeds) and butternut seeds, and not a hint of these was evident in the soup. I also have an Immersion Blender, and that's OK to thicken up a soup in the pot, but not for smooth. The VM also makes flours, as well as things like tahini and nut butters, w/o burning out.
I also have a 6 qt Kitchen Aid mixer, and a 12 c magimix Food Processor, for the food prep area. Don't use them nearly as much as the VM, but I wouldn't be without them.
I also have a Nitrimill, which is great for making flours, and adjusting the texture. I use this when making larger amounts of flour, and the VitaMix with smaller amounts, or with things like dried vegetables.
I have 1 wet, and 2 dry spice grinders. One of the dry ones is about 20 years old, and I got the other at Aldi, because it was so cheap ($9.99), and I knew that the other would eventually die. I use the old one for all those Indian masalas and podis, and the new one for things in which I don't want any of that aroma in (it's pretty much impossible to totally clean it out, even with alcohol). And that wet grinder I use for all those pastes with garlic plus ginger, galangal, or turmeric, plus a bunch of spices. Not large enough for my usual batches of Thai curry pastes, but good for one recipe batches.
Then there's the Foodsaver, which is great, not just for freezing foods, but for extending storage life of dried foods. For things like quinoa, I'll get a deal on a 10 batch, and I'll pack it in 4 cup batches, to dump into a mason jar, once that's empty in the pantry. And those bags used for dry foods can be reused.
The only other electric gadget I have is that can opener, that sets on top of a can, I press a button, and go about my buisiness. When it has gone around 360°, the sound changes, I turn it off, and remove the lid. And no sharp edges!
Oh yeah, one more that's not in there now: the induction burner. I use that in the summer, to avoid heating up the kitchen with all that gas heat. Only about 70% or less actually goes to the cooking with gas; not sure how much with induction, but I know that it heats up the room much less. I use that and the Instant Pot almost exclusively in the summer, for indoor cooking.
