Not that variety. They do look very much like the thin-skinned near-eastern/Mediterranean cucumbers. I've grown a couple varieties of those - Amira, and Beit Alpha (or something like that) and another. They are very good eating.
(About a month ago, heading into winter, I planted a cuke (cool breeze) as an experiment. This one is parthenocarpic and tolerant of cooler weather. I have them in small pots and intend to move them up into larger pots in a sunny spot against the house. They are now blooming and I was very surprised to see a two inch fruit on one of them. !!)

Supposedly Muncher is a dual purpose cucumber. A burpless variety that still makes crisp pickles. We shall see hopefully.

I only ever grow the County Fair variety of cucumber since it is resistant to Bacterial Wilt carried by cucumber beetles. This variety was recommended to me years ago by pepperhead212 and I have been growing it ever since. Every other variety I have grown dies of wilt before I get more than a few cucumbers. I use this variety for both fresh eating as well as pickles. Another thing I like about this variety is that it lacks the gene for bitterness.

County Fair is the only cucumber I will grow, due to that bacterial wilt. In fact, I just got a free pack of English Long Sweet Crunch Hybrid, if anyone wants them. Says it's just 5 seeds, but I hate to throw them away.
County fair has changed through the years. It used to look just like a pickling cucumber, lighter green, and shorter, only about 8", when it would get fatter and seedier. Now it looks like a slicing cuke, with a smoother (though some spines, they rub off easily), darker skin. I guess that's why they call it "Improved". Still wilt resistant!

pepperhead212, Maybe we should set up a site seed exchange for the suc?. I have two packets(10 seed each) of Black Vernissage tomato seed as bonus seed from Baker's Creek. I also have a packet of Chocolate Habanero that I ordered before I ordered the Lighning Habanero, I only need about 4 plants of habanero in total. I grew the Black Verissage for the previous 2 years and they are like very large and productive purple cherry tomatoes larger than pink pong balls. I'm planting Black Cherry this year as a change.

mgulfcoastguy, I also grew the black vernisage these last two seasons, from a free packet, and I got a generous number of seeds! I liked them - only problem was splitting when it would rain heavily. Yet somebody somewhere thouhht that it was the worst tomato they had grown! Might grow again, delending on how many new ones I have, and that list is building.

As someone else noted, they do look a lot like Beit Alpha, which I have grown. I have seed for Muncher but have never gotten around to growing it. I can only comment on Beit Alpha so I will tell you the eating quality is fantastic. Very thin skin, great texture. My only issue is that these thin skinned cucumbers don't store well for very long. They seem to spoil faster than the thicker skinned varieties.

I grew Muncher a couple of years ago, but I don't remember specifics because I had three or so similar types, and by the time they all vined together, I had a hard time telling which was what. I seem to remember it was a nice little eating cucumber, but then so were the others! Sorry I can't be of more help. I had seeds from several sources, including a commercial packet from Paquebot that he sent along with my SSE request tomato seeds. He would likely know more about Muncher, hopefully his health is improving and he will be able to return online in the future.
