I just ordered some from Remy. I've never grown it.
Anyone?

Jericho Romaine! I got it first from Bountiful Gardens about eight years ago, and have saved seed ever since. It grows great here for me over winter and into spring. The leaves get as big as a man's shoe, and co-workers like to make lettuce wraps with them. I do the cut-and-come-again harvest, I never just cut a whole head.
It seemed to bolt much later than, say, Red Sails or Salad Bowl. Jericho seemed to handle the heat here a little better.
I named my garden "Jericho Station"... ok well that's complicated but hubby is a DeadHead.

Jericho is a great lettuce! It's un-fussy and slow to bolt. You can start plucking leaves early, and then I continually harvest off the plants for a long time before the plants succumb to summer heat and bolt. Like aqua, I never let them be to really head up, just cut and come again and they'll keep coming again.
