2 part question? 1- do you have a favorite? 2- do the spring radishes have more flavor than the winter radishes?

I never grew a radish that wasn't too spicy for my liking. I've always sown them in Spring but will try to sow them late in the season this year to see if that makes any difference...

I found last year that sowing as early as possible and then using covers in case of frost made a huge difference. Before last year, I'd sow too late and they'd get hard and pithy. By fall, I'm swamped with canning, so for me, a fall garden is really out of the question logistically.
