hairymooseknuckles, my Kew's are also brown, the pic was of freshly shelled seed, off white with a hint of beige, like most purple podded beans

Hensaplenty , Good deal. Have you decided on what to let them grow on? Are you going to make a tee pee? Once planted, start a thread and I'll follow your progress.

hairymooseknuckles, Thanks! We are moving sometime before the end of June, so this year all my gardening will be done in containers that I can take with me! I have already started pepper and tomato seeds, and I am planning on doing a small planting of the Pink Tip Greasy in a container with tee pee stakes. At least I'll get an idea of how they taste before a mega planting next season. I'll keep you posted! I have never tried beans in a container so this will be an adventure.
