How much time do you spend each day in gardening forums... whether it's this one or some others?

45 minutes to an hour. I sit here on the computer while my husband watches TV.

Interesting question. It's probably more than you think.
I have a home office and I spend quite a bit of time here so I check in with the forum periodically throughout the day and it probably adds up to an hour or even an hour and a half on some days. 5 minutes here and 10 minutes there really adds up.
It sounds like a lot but sometimes I am reading attached links or Googling things related to gardening or cooking.
It sure beats watching mindless TV shows.

About an hour for the four gardening forums I visit. NJT gets more time than the others combined, especially with the uptick in contributions. First thing in the morning (for me that is between 9 and 10 AM) and then later in the day. Total computer time is maybe another hour added on where weather sites, banking and news are the places I visit.
I used to google on the computer but since our son-in-law got us a Google Home all I do is say, "Hey Google" and ask the question and get an oral reply faster than if I had to search the old way.

Whenever I sit down to give my legs a rest, I have bad legs . Annette

Probably an hour. I typically read more than I write, as I need to learn and haven't much knowledge to contribute.

I really only know of 4 gardening forums, LOL well Idig but it face planted. Houzz is a nightmare for me. I have trouble navigating that place so I quit going there. There was one forum that honestly felt more like a snooty high school cheerleader group. I didn't really fit in there and didn't like the 'flavor' of the place. PLUS IMHO I don't agree with politics in gardening forums. Tville I pop into once in a while. Tville has great people there, I like that there are no politics but I also like other veggies besides tomatoes. GASP So here I am off and on all day long.

Been gardening most of my life and I know less than most. I tend to push the envelope and do stuff that won't work. Hard headed I guess. If I took a notion to, I'd try to raise ice cubes outside in August knowing darn well it wouldn't work.

I agree that it adds up. Total of 1 to 2 hours a day probably.

spike , Bet I can guess which one that was. LAUGHING! I used to really enjoy Gardenweb before it became Houzz. I still pop in though. It's where I met a lot of my gardening friends like "Aftermidnight","Macmex", "Zeedman", "Darjones", "Flintknapper", "Dr. Lloyd", "Farmerdilla", "Rogerwinn", and a slew of other friends. We used to talk Beans all day long!

About and hour of computer time before bed and maybe another half an hour during the day if I have no other plans.
I usually have more time in the winter to read and learn, but in the summer I like to stay outside with the plants.

That there is a loaded question that I am not answering. I absolutely spend WAY too much time playing in the forum dirt. Three garden forums, two homeschool forums and one cooking forum on top of all the social media... It's a lot.
