If you were to start from scratch what would your garden look like.. size, raised beds/in-ground... and what would you have in it

I currently have large, in-ground beds. I didn't even know what raised beds were when I started my gardens but if I started over I would probably have some raised beds. I don't think that I would plant any different veggies than I do now.
I do think that there are advantages to both but I like the idea of not walking on the garden and if I ever downsize I will have raised beds.

At this point, my style of planting would stay the same, in ground planting. A new garden size would change from the current 2400 sq ft, to about 3000 sq ft, but would be divided into two parts, at least 50 ft apart. That way if isolation was needed, it could be accomplished. What I grow would not change much, unless it would something customers requested. For myself, I am too old and set in my ways to change what I eat.

My garden has changed several times over the years. My original garden was way to huge. One row of green beans picked would mound up in a huge wheel barrow. 161 quarts (lost count of the pints) canned. Cut the garden in half. Was to small. Moved garden closer to house. Gets larger every year. I do wish I had one more raised bed! A 4 X 8 would be killer!!!
I will say that once again my garden is way to large BUT I share. I give veggies to my neighbors and any extra goes down to the Mission. So I am okay with the ever expanding garden!!

If I could, I would overhaul my entire backyard and reconfigure all the plantings. This would require a backhoe to remove an existing basketball court made of concrete that takes up 1/4 of the entire space. Once the bb court is removed, I would fill the area with good soil and put grass seed there to begin. Then I'd move the storage sheds to the other side of the yard. I would devote i/3 of the backyard to fruit trees, even though I never get to harvest anything, but I would leave the garden beds alone because I like the way I built them.

We are actually starting over this year. The in-ground garden size will stay the same size, 50'X 50' and it will have tomatoes, peppers, lots of perennial herbs and daylillies, blackberries, asparagus and rhubarb. Maybe this year melons.
All the rest of the vegetables like green beans, beets, lettuce, cucumbers and anything else we think of will be in round animal waterers. I will put them up on blocks so my wife can tend the gardens without bending over too much.
I would love for everything to be in raised beds but that would not be practical for us.

If money were no object, I would have several raised beds on stilts. I'd like them at least 4' tall. I can't bend over because of both my back and because of vertigo. If health were no issue, give me an old Poppin Johnny or Farmall M and I'm happy. When I had my tractor, I could sit up there staring at rows forever. Happy Memories.
