Y'all pray for smokey as he is going under the knife this evening to be fixed, declawed, he's getting his first shots, flea dipped.

You got it.
My 13 year old went through the neutering and front declawing. He is a great house cat and has the run of the house, of course. ;D

Why do people refer to it as "fixed"? I consider it "broken".

HEHE, well when a male cat starts marking his territory inside your house, then it's considered fixed....

Well some sad news... nosey has passed away ! We had noticed she was acting kinda strange and while wifey and I were watching tv the other night nosey went into seizures right in wifeys lap and by the time we got her to the vet it was just too late. We have had nosey since we were married and that's been 17 years with nosey running the house... we miss her real bad.

Awww...I am sorry to hear that. I've been through that, and it really does make you sad. I hope you and your wife feel better soon.
I went a few years without a cat after I lost my Valerie (I had a toddler at the time, and little kids + new cats can be a tough combo). But now I have two cats again, and I enjoy them every day. Hopefully in time you'll find just the right kitty to keep Smokey in line and run your house.

I am so very sorry about the death of your dear cat Nosey, who has been your companion for so long.
