that you would be doing with your time, if you couldn't garden at all?

I do a lot of other things but it would leave a big void and I would have to spend time shopping for decent veggies to use in my cooking. I like to cook with really fresh ingredients.

I do a lot of reading and writing and would do more...also there is a fifteen year long honey-do list to contend with. Maybe more foreign travel.

Well I do not garden in the Winter, so I would probably do what I do in the off-season: paint, work on frames and do construction. I have an endless list of projects that are never done because every time gardening gets in the way.

I would probably have a lot cleaner house and some emptier closets! More reading for sure. Might volunteer at the local humane society or nursing home. The trick would be finding a regular daily physical activity to get me up off the couch. When it's dry, our gravel township roads are too dusty for walking, a car passes and you breathe in a cloud of dust for 10 minutes.

Wait what? My brain has flat lined. NOT GARDEN? Did I die?

Well, this year I spent the summer preparing to move and them moving instead of gardening. Does that count?
If I didn't garden, I'd probably have to find another part time job to support me buying all my produce from local farmers instead of growing it myself.

Cook...and eat. Assuming whatever made it in impossible for me to garden still let me cook. But then, if I were still able to do that, I would somehow garden indoors, like I do now, in the off-season.

If I did not garden, I would be a candidate for the loony bin.
