I miss having the fresh veggies available. I had to actually BUY zucchini for zoodles yesterday but I do like a break from working in the garden especially when I am so busy with Christmas stuff.

Oh good Lord and butter YES! I really didn't get to garden this past year and can't wait to get my hands in the dirt!

I miss the veggies, but not the heat.

I've been so busy since moving that I haven't really had time to miss my garden, even though I didn't have much of one this year. But yesterday, for the first time this season, I suddenly had the itch. I had a mental picture of working my boxes and preparing them for seeds and I really wanted to get out there and do something! Sadly, it's not even winter yet according to the calendar. I have a long time to wait.

I start missing it as I'm putting it to bed for the winter.

Yes! And the much warmer weather I'd need to putter around.

Actually I have turnips, collards, and mustards that need harvesting.

I miss a whole lot this year and hate to HAVE to buy fresh veggies. I found a couple of black tomatoes at ‘Sprouts’ grocery store that tasted decent, but not homegrown taste.
Yes, I miss the dirt and the weeds, too. But it is nice to have a break for now. Peppers will start in February so I’d better get planning. . . .

No... I have so many things to do right now that I would totally neglect the garden...

As much as I love to garden, I also love the winter break... I have lots of projects that get done over winter...I need that time away from the garden for those things... I do miss the fresh produce though... Those tomatoes I bought, {{gasp}}, the other day for the tacos were similar to eating red cucumbers!... ... I do still have swisschard hanging in out there...

Yes for sure. Miss digging in the dirt, checked yesterday and it be wee bit frozen. Still have several tomatoes left to eat, that were picked green at the last minute. Like others have said it is a chance to get something else accomplished.

well, I do and I don't. life has been crazy this Fall and I honestly didn't have time to do anything with it for 6 weeks. that said, I am thankful there was nothing much to do except it needed cleaned up but the weather went from like 80+°'s to literally cold and wet even down into the teens making it unbearable to work out there. it still isn't cleaned up and we are leaving for vacation for a few weeks even if the weather was suitable now I won't be here again to work on it.

Hardly have time to think about missing it, but when I do think about it I miss it whenever I'm not in it. Looking forward to living in my garden full time and extending it to orchards and greenhouses.
