Many of us are dealing with too much rain but some others are having a dry summer.
Let's see how it looks by the numbers.

I just saw that we were 2"+ more, compared to last year, for yesterday's date. And last year was the second wettest on record for this area. I really wasn't sure, until then; it seemed about the same, but that last large amount put us over.

For the year we are only 2" above normal. For gardening, the spring rains were very timely. For farmers they were a disaster as there was seldom more than 2 days without rain. Never any big rains and probably no day with more than an inch. Never a minute of complaint from me.

Definitely more rain here than usual. I've not been here long, but the lake has been way up for longer than usual, there are few days when I can till (or even walk in) my garden. And it is storming again right now.

Same as usual - which means 'none', 'zero', 'nada'. We did have a couple later 1" rains in our wet season (Roughly Nov to early April), and that did help.
Anything that needs water now gets it out of the tap.

About the same as usual, which means less than the surrounding areas. We live in a pocket that we often call the doughnut hole, because the weather systems end up going either north or south of us, all we get is a bit of side swipe of rain, and sometimes not even that. It's more common for us to be in a summer drought than too much rain. Now snow, that's another story!

september, we are in a similar situation here in southern Colorado. There can be a severe thunderstorm system moving west to east toward us, but when it gets within 15-20 miles from us, it will split into two separate storms and pass us by going north and south. Same thing in the winter, but I don't mind at all. So, we are getting about as much rain as we usually get...very little! But Colorado was blessed with snowpack well above average and it is starting to melt into the rivers causing concerns west of the reservoir and downstream from us.

Why no, I didn't have too much rain. I always grow mushrooms between my toes...
