My go-to for ramp seed was the Ramp Farm. They have gone out of business. Now I am seeking a new vendor. Again this year the majority of fall seed care packages (seeds) are coming from FW Schumacher. I will get the over-looked from Lawyers. I got a lucky local source for asimina. Still none of the lesser deep southern cousins tho. Nutmeg hickory may also be a maybe not.

I got ramps from an Ohioan. I am hoping for at least some persimmon seed from another Ohioan. Goldenseal, Solomon seal--look like lost causes. Having cleaned a 5 gallon bucket of over-ripe (read rotting) persimmons, $ 30 a pound sounds like a bargain to me.
I sure hope Schumachers' never goes out of business. they are about the last of an era of owner-operators in the seed business.
One a them 'sounds good' ideas of pinyon. Did not generate much interest, so I will grow out what germinated for me till I have bigger pine babies. Either barter of those will stir the pot, or I will let the idea rest.

Why are you having problem with Solomon's seal? It's almost a weed to me. I'll be grubbing some out again shortly to keep it from invading the vegetable garden.

I pay market rates.

Strictly Medicinal came through again this year with mandrake seed. This years trial will be in squirel-proof bunker out doors.
