How long following the birth of kittens, before Mama Kitty can be “fixed”?
How old must baby kittens be, before being neutered?

Kittens may be spayed and neutered at 3 months. Mama cats can be spayed as soon as her kittens are weaned. Could be done before then but could affect nursing.

I was scheduled to be thinking of this in December. After 14 years of close friendship, lost my best furry pal on Thanksgiving and buried her two days later on my birthday. Cousin;s daughter has Siamese and rag doll mixes. The prime mother cat could have 50 kittens and there would still be a waiting list. I was to get a female which would be ¾ Siamese and ¼ rag doll. They were beautiful kittens when first shown on Facebook after born on 16 July. I was to get mine last weekend at 8 weeks but we could not connect. (About 70 miles away.) Aimed for this weekend instead. Kitten choked on some dry food Monday and died. We are both beating ourselves as to how it should never have happened if things went according to plans. A kitten is now reserved from a younger litter and maybe have her around Halloween. Will be at least 50% Siamese but which tom was involved hasn't been determined yet.

Sorry to hear about your kitten, paquebot, even though she never made it to your home. That is a strange way to go, very upsetting.
