We all know it's coming if we haven't had it yet.
October 15 (tomorrow) is my average first frost date but I have not had one yet.
Just for fun, lets see how the numbers add up. How many of you have had frost yet this season?
Just a yes or no question, no soon or maybe answers.

Light frost October 12, just enough to kill tomatoes and peppers, then another the next night.

Surrounding areas have had killing frost. Because we are on the lake, the water keeps our micro climate air temperature warmer in the fall until ice forms. Although we had snow, we have not had what I consider a hard freeze. Some of the undiseased tomato vines still look ok. Tops of the pepper plants are probably finished, but lower sheltered portions could regrow if we were in a warmer zone. So right at my house I'd say just a very light frost.

It still hasn’t dropped below the 60’s at night. Not predicted to drop below the high 50’s for at least the next ten days.

Yes and no. Two nights ago, ice at my son's house 3 blocks up the street. Not a hint of frost damage here. If there were any, callaloo would have been the first to show it and it's still lush and green. This morning, remote thermometer shows that there was a low of 31º but again no frost damage. Ten-day forecast now shows no frost in the immediate future to end this miserably wet year. Maybe we should appreciate this bonus time but not when there's little left to take advantage of it.
(Bonus time for us is any time after 22 September.Ground could be frozen solid by now.)

Not a chance of frost any time soon where I am. We are finally expecting our first "cold" front to pass through tonight. It's expected to drop tonight's low all the way down to 58! I laugh, but after the heat and drought, today's rain and the prospect of waking up to 58 tomorrow actually sounds fantastic. First frost is usually around Nov. 25th here.

Our usual frost date is Oct. 15. We beat it this year by a whole week with temps in the low teens. I was scrambling to pick green tomatoes and peppers last week, and today’s temp is close to 80*F. Weird weather for sure. But it gives me a chance to clean up the gardens in good weather .

It waited till November this time, got a few light frosts last week, not enough to kill maters yet. But next week is a different story. They got it going down to 17 Tuesday night.

I still haven't had a "frost", and only one freeze, with more coming. It seems to be breezy, during those low temp times, keeping the frost from forming. It's supposed to be very windy when this next freeze happens, which will help the leaves left out there freeze!

We all know it's coming if we haven't had it yet. I have no idea when the next frost might be. A better question would be when the last one was. I'm guessing 1997. It did get into the high 30s briefly last winter. Brrrrrr!

Do you even own a Winter coat? No. When I used to do more traveling and camping, I had a down jacket which I loved.

I rarely wear a coat and even more rarely a hat of any sort.

We had our first frost, pretty much right on schedule, Sept 15, if I recall correctly.
But then here in zone 2, we only have an average 55 day season.
