There are some good deals offered on Black Friday but will you go out and shop for them?
I will probably do some decorating for Christmas. I am more of a Cyber Monday shopper.

I will definitely factor in a long walk to work off the Thanksgiving calories. Shopping, or even thinking about Christmas shopping, is the last thing on my mind.

I will drag out the decorations, sort them and start decorating. All my main shopping is done. I just need to wrap and some I need to wrap and get in the mail. NOT going out Black Friday weekend unless it is an emergency. People are nuts out there then. Open Season: First day of Hunting Season at your local Walmart! Nope!

Just another day...sleep til the crack of 10, rummage through the net, shoot out a few e-mails, take a nap after all the hard work, have lunch, read a few gardening websites, play a little solitaire, then watch the Hawkeyes demolish the Cornchuckers, then think about cleaning up the garage. Then take another nap to get ready for an early night.

No special plans, but I definitely won't be out shopping anywhere!

My first Black Friday at CFA! I'm expecting it to be busy and a crazy good time.
After work I'll be prepping my house for Thanksgiving, which we are hosting on Saturday.

I may do some online shopping, but I definitely won't be venturing into the stores barring an emergency.
Usually we do the Christmas decorating on Black Friday, or later on Thanksgiving weekend.

I'll be visiting my daughter and she's already said "let's throw caution to the wind and go shopping." Pray for us.

Nothing black about my fridays. Won't be doing anything different than I do every other friday. Find something useful to do and end the week with some time in the "country hot tub" just a stock tank I heat some water in.

Friday is my usual errand day but so far the only thing I have planned is a box of Corn Chex and loaf of Italian bread from walMart and fresh cheese curds from a factory outlet. I doubt if those will be on sale!

I work Black Friday at Menards. OMG it is insane. I love Menards! NOT on Black Friday though. DH has been saving a bunch of rebates and gift cards to Menards specifically for Black Friday! He's gone the last few years and just cannot believe the sales that they offer. And the crowd amuses him. So DS and I will go to work and he'll go to Menards and buy... stuff.

We don't have Menards where I live but I got an ad in the mail from Kohl's today and they are offering doorbusters until 1 pm on Black Friday. You can get a Toastmaster electric fry pan, coffee pot or crock pot for $2.14 by using a rebate coupon. They also offer an Instant Pot for $67.99 which is pretty cheap but I already have one and nothing would entice me to Kohl's on Black Friday, not even if they were giving away appliances. I wouldn't go to CFA on black Friday either ladymarmalade , It's crowded enough on a regular day but I have to admit that the food really is good.

I don't know why stores want to promote "Black Friday" here, but they do. I suppose any reason to get people in the door... And for what ever reason it seems to work... People go crazy for this.
We're going to stay home and avoid the insanity...

And my hope with BF is that we'll get a lot of people in the morning when we're serving breakfast only who didn't realize we had a good breakfast menu. And then they'll come back other days once they've had it.

The CFA chicken biscuits are addictive. But I still miss the Spicy Chicken Biscuits.
It's just as well, though. If they still had those, I'd get them waaaaay too often.
