Will there be anything on your Thanksgiving table that is from your garden?
Potatoes and corn will be from my garden but I bought Brussels sprouts and of course I didn't grow the turkey!

Spent an hour this aft peeling enough sweet potatoes to feed about 40 mouths. That's been my contribution to the clan feast for 10+ years.

Only thing I brought here from the garden is strawberry jam.

Rutabaga!
Also kale, horseradish, garlic, vegetable pickles, and from our neighbor's garden potatoes, beets, and carrots.

Frozen sweet corn from the garden to make some "Angel Corn".

pondgardener what is Angel corn? I am making Amish baked corn which is my sweet corn in a milk and egg mixture which solidifies when baking. It's kind of like corn pudding.

I took some of my fresh herbs over to my friends place, but that's all.

Only the garlic was from my garden. It starred in the garlic green beans.
However, I did have jicama "hash browns" for brunch using the one big jicama I got from my garden along with a store-bought jicama to supplement it.

pondgardener, that is almost the same as Amish baked corn except that mine does not have crushed crackers.
