If you were forced to spend the rest of your life in one season, which one would you pick? Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall?

Winter is OK but I find it boring although the first snow can be pretty. Just the first snow. One is enough for me.
Spring can be wet and chilly here but the flowers are beautiful.
I love Fall with it's crisp nights and low humidity but it's not good for gardening.
Summer can be too hot but it's the best for gardening so I guess that I will have to choose Summer.

If I had to stay where my permanent address is I would choose the in-between season late summer/early fall. All the work in the garden would be caught up, no weeding, just harvesting.
If I could move around it would be Pacific Northwest for spring and most of the summer and Florida late fall and winter.

Summer can be too hot but it's the best for gardening so I guess that I will have to choose Summer. I agree with this. Summer is the best for me. The best days are the ones in August when we have 80s days and low 60s nights.

Spring in NC. The foliage and flowers are beautiful and it's warm enough for me to plant a few things in the garden.

I would prefer late Spring/early summer OR Late summer/early fall OR late fall/early winter. I actually love every single season. We lived in Alaska, to much winter and we lived in Arizona, to much summer. I need my 4 seasons.
But if I have to choose I would pick summer. Things growing and the sun and being able to be outside almost constantly!

Years ago when I still loved to work in the hot sun, I would have said summer, no question.
Now, it's a tossup between spring, with the fresh promise of a new season and the excitement of starting of seeds, or the fall, when I can eat all the good stuff that I planted and grew. Either season has temperatures more to my liking. Sitting inside with AC in the summer is just like sitting inside in the winter with heat. Actually, I don't mind winter, if it didn't have to be so long. I like being cozy warm and lazy while it snows outside.

Hi Rexx,
I love four seasons.
I love the SMELL of Autumn.
I like snow on Christmas Eve(only that night, no other). I love Spring freshness.
I love the smell of the road after a thunderstorm in the summer. I can't describe that smell. Intense? I don't know.
Other peoples grill. How comes someone else's grill always smells so dang good?
Smells seem to be what I like in every season. Hope I don't get covid and lose my smeller!
Guess I'll pick summer.

Spring...in spring I get lots of sunny days. The perfect part of spring would be when temperatures are in the mid to upper 70s days and nights in the upper 50s I could grow almost everything from peas to spinach to lettuce to tomatoes. Tomato ripening would be slow, but they'd get there. Even bell peppers and eggplants would manage, though hot peppers and okra wouldn't be happy. Low humidity and low disease pressure, comfortable temperatures to work all day long in the garden, spring flowers - what's not to love? The same temperature range in the fall would work, too. But I would eventually get bored without the change of seasons. And the kids wouldn't be happy or comfortable swimming in the pool in those temperatures!
