Do you have a favorite or do you even like them?

Chicken Pot Pie or several of the Asian frozen entrees we get at Costco. Those are reserved for a quick meal when neither of us feel like making a meal from scratch. The reason I am so big is that my wife is an excellent cook and still does after 51 years together. I do basic meals, she does the extra special ones.

LOL I bought some from Sam's Club yesterday for the first time ever. The only frozen dinner thing we actually buy is around the holidays Sam's Club sells these breaded chicken breasts stuffed with apples, creme brie and cranberries. SO good.

I like chicken pot pie, but my favorites are probably some of the Indian dishes, like saag paneer. That way I can fix an Indian food craving when no one else in the house wants Indian food.

No Costco or Sam's Club within 100 miles, so I'm limited to normal grocery store selection. Seems to me that the portions are usually too small for the price, and quality not that great for the few things I have tried, so I rarely buy anything. Hubs does keep a few chicken or turkey pot pies around for when I am not cooking.

Today we had an Orange Chicken frozen dinner from the regular grocery store and like September we commented that's the last time. The chicken was more breading than chicken and the rice portion was pretty bad. We will stick to Costco from now on.

I've been trying to remember the last time I had a TV dinner, lol. The closest I can come up with is one of those pans of lasagna, and that was several years ago. We don't have anything in the freezer that resembles a TV dinner.

My Mom was the one that bought the last one for me - sometime in my teens, maybe. My only frozen dinners are one dish meals, I have frozen.

I’m not much into those. Once in a great moon, I’ll eat a Marie Callender pot pie. I will eat frozen pizza too occasionally. Most of that stuff doesn’t taste good, it’s just convenient, but gosh a peanut butter sandwich is better than most of that junk.

hairymooseknuckles , frozen pizza here gets doctored up every time. I add drained chopped tomatoes, peppers, onion on mine, and a little sprinkle of fresher mozzarella. Hubs only like Canadian Bacon pizza, so he tops his with canned pineapple chunks. Less trouble than making my own dough.
