I am growing a plant of "Viva Italia" tomato, a semi-determinate variety according to the seed packet.
Well, this plant has currently reached 6 ft in height, is loaded with fruits with many more forming, and it does not look like it's about to slow down or quit growing. From what I can see, this is the normal performance of an indeterminate tomato plant. Did I read the packet wrong?

The "usual" difference is that determinates are shorter, bushier and produce all at once. Indeterminates are taller, vinier and produce all season long. Semis are supposed to be in-between sized and produce longer than all at once. However many experts agree that plant size can vary greatly so that they can be tall plants and produce in a shorter season mode or longer into the season.
Since the description of semi-determinate can be from short to tall with production more like an indeterminate, what you have could be called whatever you want it to be. Sounds like you got a "big" Viva.
