Missy's adorable. Our kids like playing with corn cobs and curling ribbon as much as their cat toys.

Missy is having a problem with a hot spot on her back, no joke she gets up on the furniture and scratches her back while standing on her back legs... yes it looks cute but it's driving her bananas. Do your pets deal with this and what do you do to help?

I put original flavor Listerine on hot spots, or the Kroeger knock-off called Amber mouthwash (much less expensive than Listerine). The pungent scent will keep the dog from chewing on the area, and an ingredient called thymol (basically oil of thyme) is antiseptic which prevents or heals infection. I soak a cotton ball in the mouthwash and squeeze it over the hot spot, once or twice a day. Dog gives me a dirty look every time I do this, dog quits messing with the sore, sore heals in a couple of days.

my dog was itching like crazy last year !! I tried the Brewers yeast in his diet.. If you try that introduce it slowly , and I tried washing with vinegar and all kinds of weird concotions everyone told me about , Oatmeal bath and such .... I finally decided to put him on the elimination diet ... Basicly now he eats any kind of food as long as there is no corn in it .. also some stuff called centinal I got from the vet ... he still itches a lil but nothing like he used to ......his hair has grown back , I believe it was the corn .... if you look up the elimination diet for dogs you will see ........

What is this one's name? How are all three dogs adjusting to each other?
