Why not? Bunny you use you parrot in a service-animal role.
The uses of service animals is too often overlooked by utilitarians.

At the peril of releasing protected medical information, Bunny's Hannah, when she is not busy cussing (Hannah had an earlier human), wakes Bunny when her c-pap is off.

I've kicked around the idea of raising gamebirds. The wife says NO!

Labrador dogs are most about the often trained dog for service animal work. With sheppherds a close second. Just about all of the legalisms around service animals goes back to 'white cane' laws for low-vision/blind. Inasmuch as these laws go back to the turn of the twentieth century and have withstood legal challenge for a century or more, You'd think this would be a non-starter for business and transportation companies. Alas too often this is not the case. If you do see a PWD with a working service animal (with his-her) vest on. Talk to the human and let the service animal work. Its human will be glad you did. Bunny's parrot does not go out in public to work. Tho we have talked about getting a vest for Hannah...
