First blossoms have been pollinated and have little fruit on the Rosa Bianca. Doesn't look like it will be a big harvest unless I soon get more branches and flowers. Pic taken like 10 days ago.

Ciao Minnie-
Rosa Bianca will never wow you with production, but it will in the flavour/texture category. I always grow several so I have enough. With all the heat we've gotten lately, you should start to see more fruit. Mine are really performing well right now.

Oh good. I have 12-15 plants and they will be for my 9 CSAs. I quit going to market to save time. I told the CSAs how wonderful they are supposed to taste so I hope they don't disappoint. I also am saving the seed as it is the only eggplant nearby.

the rosa bianca stain that I got is not as productive as my other eggplant crops. This is one of my frustrations..

I have already decided I would grow it with some prolific Asian variety next year.

BTW Rosa Bianca this season Not too long after the CPBs got them. I saved seeds from th earliest fruit.
