It was 16° when I went out this morning, but this is the first day we have gone over freezing in just over a week, at 36°, and every day will be getting warmer, up to 60°, or close to it. And starting late Wednesday, it will rain, and even more the next 2 days, and all this snow will be melted!

It was "only" 29° when I got up today (8:30?) and it only got down to 27° sometime overnight. At 11 am, it was already 41° - only 1° below the forecast high, which is around average. Not real sunny, but not supposed to start raining until tomorrow.

So today it is 50° outside. Now why wouldn't it be in January, in the snow belt with the Lake effect? But the shed thawed out and so did the outside Christmas lights, so I was able to get them down and put up!

Cloudy. It's been warm (for January) and gloomy all week, but we've gotten much less rain than expected so far. Looking like we might get about an inch over the whole week, when 3"-4" were initially forecast.
More rain is forecast overnight and tomorrow, then clearing skies and a sunny and cool - but not cold - week next week.

There's a little sun today, and a little blue in the sky, by it doesn't last long at a time. It's gotten to 50°, so far, but it's not supposed to get much warmer. The snow is all gone, with more rain forecast - over an inch and a quarter in this area. I'm glad all this rain I'm getting, since that snow, isn't still snow!

I am having a lovely late winter/early spring week here. Highs in the 60s, lows in the 40s, and partly cloudy skies for most of the week. No rain in the forecast until Sunday and Monday.

Having a cool spell now, with lows around 40° f, but not as cold as it has been - just a little cooler than average. And it's getting warmer again, by Thursday, with sun! It's been foggy, rainy, and overcast every day - my straight sided bucket out there (my rain gauge, when there can be freezing temps) had over 4½" of water, from the last 2 batches of rainy weather - not even including the snow, and the rain earlier in the month. January has given me about 4" over average precipitation, and along with that extra rain we got in Nov & Dec, we made up for that deficit of close to 11" we were in last year! I'll see if this weather continues into the spring this year - the last two seasons I had to set up my drip irrigation system early, whereas usually I didn't have to think about it until well into June.

A little above average today - mid to upper 40s, and the 3rd day in a row I haven't seen a cloud in the sky! Back to average tomorrow, but then the temp starts rising, up to maybe 60° Saturday though they say that might be the next chance for rain we have, though not any inches plus, like we kept getting in January.

We got cheated! Forecast called for low to mid 40's this week, but we have stayed overcast, so only in the lower '30's because we still have a little snow cover. If we would have had sun, it all would have melted by now.

I heard those 60s were going to be in MN before they head my way, september! That should melt a lot for you.

pepperhead212 , The southern 1/3 of the state lucked out with sunshine and warmer temps, but alas, we here in the cloudy north were robbed! I was hoping all the snow would be gone after this warm snap, but it's been so cloudy EVERY day, that melting is slow in the low to mid 30's! We can't even get to the promised 40's! Supposed to drop back into the 20's by Friday. The weather people have been way off for us this week.

It was 26° here this morning - been under freezing every night, but warmer than average every day, because of the nonstop sun. Today is supposed to be just a degree or two above, maybe 44°, but no wind, and it seemed warmer briefly, while I was out there earlier, even though it was only around 40°.

We've had light rain off and on, mostly on since last night, traveling remnants of that nasty California storm earlier in the week. Now it has turned to a snow mix at 30F and will drop to around 20F. Not supposed to accumulate more than an inch. We are done with warm temps for a while.

Supposed to get into the high 50s today, but the clouds are showing up, for the first time in quite a while! One more day in the high 50s, then the temp starts going down, but supposedly no rain until Tuesday.

Currently 65º. People are walking around in short sleeves and flip-flops, and some are doing garden chores. I look at them and I think: "not me" By this time next Friday it's supposed to be back in the 30s.

Nothing shows on the radar, but very sparse and anemic looking snow flakes continue to be blown around all all day. Just a thin dusting on the ground, 17 F now in the mid afternoon. Doubt we'll reach the expected high of 24F.

Today's high was 73. It was mostly cloudy, a little humid but not uncomfortably so, especially since there was a breeze. It was a great day to get some work done outside.
The rain is supposed to start around dawn and go all through tomorrow and into Monday afternoon. About 1.25" of rain predicted.
Then we're forecast to go back to 60s highs and 40s lows with sunny skies for a few days before a wet weekend, which is pretty much a re-run of last week's weather. It's really been quite nice for February. The 60s/40s temps are about average, but February often has a lot of gloomy and wet weather, so having 4-5 sunny days a week is nice this time of year.

Quite a bit of rain overnight, but changed to snow sometime after 6:30 am, which was predicted (still clear when I got up the first time, at 6 am). The coating was there when I got up, around 8:30, but no snow coming down. Later, it started again, but still not coating the walks or drives. This photo isn't great, and doesn't show the snow coming down, as the camera is focusing on the screen mesh! Temp is down to 35°, but the sun is supposed to come out, and temp up to 42°, so most of the snow should be melted. Already stopped at 11:00. Winter not over, but no shoveling needed here...yet. by pepperhead212, on Flickr

We got about 0.8" of rain Friday night and yesterday. It was basically all mist, drizzle, or light rain, so there was very little runoff. That was good to get. Rain is about to become rare and precious again as the spring dry season will be starting up soon. (Usually early March.) Actually, the spring dry season might be starting now if the 10-day forecast is correct, and if it's indicative of what's to come. The only rain in the 10-day forecast is a 50% chance of a few hundredths of an inch of rain on Thursday night. Today was cool and gloomy, with a high in the 50s and a low tonight in the upper 30s. Tomorrow should be sunny and in the mid-60s, so that will be much nicer. By Wednesday we'll be looking at highs in the low 70s and lows in the 50s, typical early spring weather.

Beautiful today and tomorrow, then cloudy for a couple of days, then warm and rainy throughout the rest of the 10-day forecast (six days).
Several days of rain in a row like that is unusual for early March - we're normally entering our spring dry season. Most likely we'll get into the dry weather right after that. In the meantime, all of the rain should soak the ground deeply, which is great for my newly planted fruit trees and bushes. So although I'll probably grump about the gloom later this week, underneath the griping I will be grateful to get the ground thoroughly soaked this time of year.

The rain started late last night, and just recently stopped, or at least slowed down to a mist, raining just over an inch and a quarter total. It is still 57°, and is only forecast to get down to 47° tonight - about our average high at this time! Next 4 days are supposed to get into the 60s, and not much cooler after that. And little sun in the ten day forecast.

Raining again...I would say still, but it did stop for a few hours! Still in the low to mid 50s, which is still a little warm. Solid rain in the radar, until 3 or 4 am, and it might stop for the rest of tomorrow, then actually some sunshine in the forecast for Friday, and close to 60°, then back to rain for Saturday! I wish I could send this to those not getting rain, or save it for when I won't be getting flooded! Always the way - too much, or too little.

Woke up this morning to 32 degree ice, sleet, rain, snow coming down. Last night rainfall, the first in a month, totaled .18 inch. Better than nothing. Less than an inch of snow predicted after a week of temps in the 60s and 70s.

It's sunny and 41F, on its way to 43F. Real Feel 35F. Wind Advisory - gusts to 55mph. Received 1.2" of rain yesterday. Ground is pretty saturated. That's ok, I don't plan on tilling anything today anyway, lol.
