$2.04 today! Deer season started the 15th and I'd expect gas stations to gouge us like they do every year!

When all the jockeying is done, gas will be down to $1.40 per gallon in most of the U.S. It is $1.79 locally with $1.63 50 miles north and $1.55 in South Alabama. There is nothing to prop up the price of gas at this time given the oversupply of oil as a result of many countries pumping as much as possible as they try to maintain revenue streams.

Get ready for $1.50 per gallon or lower. Oil is in a steep dive with no end in sight and current prices trending below $30/barrel. This means tax plus refining plus transport plus raw cost of oil getting close to a 15 year low.

While such low oil prices are nice for those who drive a lot, they are going to put a real hurting on folks in Texas and the Dakotas.
