No Clue. I just finished putting together a dessert for Christmas dinner. Paintman just asked if there is any ice cream in the freezer. Mebbe I won't have to cook anything tonight, just load up a bowl with about 4 scoops, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries.

My dad and I went to the Poinsettia Bowl (SDSU vs Navy) in San Diego today and we stopped in Old Town San Diego at a very good Mexican Restaurant. I had the best taco I have ever had at this place. It was a Carne Asada, Indain Flatbread Taco. It was Indian Flatbread with carne asada, pico de gallo, and carmalized onions. I also had a very good cheese enchilada. They gave us chips and very good salsa and the best black bean dip ever.

At Christmas dinner, my (oldest) daughter made a Pea Salad that was a big hit. She got the recipe from one of the other nurses at the clinic where she works.
Green Peas (she used frozen @ this time of year) Bacon
The peas & bacon were cooked the night before, mixed, and put in fridge.
While the turkey was cooking, she grated some sharp cheddar, and diced some red onion, and added that to the pea/bacon bowl. Just before serving, she stirred in Mayo.
As a side note, you could substitute the mayo with either a Ranch or blue cheese dressing.
No measurements were provided...just add what you think is right. This may become a regular when the peas come in next year. Simple, and delicious!

Left over Pizza I'm having a slice of reheated pizza with a little Tabasco Habanero Sauce right now. Some cottage cheese and applesauce on the side.

Boiled hot dogs on white bread. I didn't get enough junk food at McRaunchy's for lunch with my son & grandson, had to come home and have more.

Wait... I thought hot dogs were a major food group? You Betcha! At least all five of them. You got your Mystery Meat for Protein Grain in the bun, 3 servings of veggies: Cucumber Relish, Tomato Catsup, Herbal Remedy (Mustard). Dairy if you add Cheese (not sure about the squeezie cheezie stuff though?) Mayo adds eggs & oil and Bacon because We know that Bacon makes Everything Better, right Rich??

Boiled hot dogs? Yeah, I guess it could be done (done it a few times myself...but not for decades). In Chile, they are called "5 minutos" (5 minutes), 'cause that is how long it takes to make dinner. It actually takes no longer to fry them (split 'em in half), and they have so much more flavor.

Ballpark wienies boiled until they split. That's a prerequisite in this household and besides, boiling makes them low fat doesn't it? Now fried spaghetti, that's a meal!
