I love both kinds of pea soup, but of course, being in Canada, we eat the 'habitant' (heritage french) yellow pea kind more cuz it's a staple in the canned soup section. Now where is that recipe for green pea with the cream in it???

Everybody is a little under the weather, so Long John Silver's it was. Why oh why? Because deep-fried foods are a major food group...

I feel kinda sniffly and stuffy tonight but unlike Tx, we passed on the deep fried fish thing, Instead, we went out for Egg Drop Soup, Seafood LoMein and Ginger Beef. I feel better already

Good stuff there blue! Believe it or not, when I get pork fried rice, I like to spoon some egg drop soup over it to make it a little soupier. Adds a little flavor dimension to the rice as well. (Yeah, I'm a sick little puppy ;D) Hope you continue feeling better.
Spinach pasta bake tonight.

I made an old favorite - Mahogany Fire Noodles, from the book True Thai, which I changed to use up some of those greens, and that shogoin (in place of the bamboo shoots). This recipe has 30 Thai bird peppers and 10 cloves of garlic, pounded to a paste, and used to flavor 1 lb fresh or 12 oz dried rice noodles. The term fiery is an understatement!

Wow Dave, I'm not sure I could handle it quite that lava-esque, but it does sound good!
