It's supposed to go up to around 6 Celcius & it's raining - Green Christmas this year for us, again - we don't get many white Christmases here because our climate is similar to that of Seattle.
Happy HO HO HOing everyone!

For Christmas day, we had 40F(4C), so the bit of yesterday's snow is gone. The ground is still soft and the squirrels are out and about.
Tonight after 9p when I was out for a walk, the temp was just above freezing. A snow shower had blown through, so the sidewalks and roadways had a trace of snow. Not complaining at all.

Another green Christmas here. Today was nice, albeit a bit wet in the early morning hours. We haven't had many below zero temps here as yet but then again, it's not Jan.-Mar. It's overcast but not as wet as it was on Christmas Day. It was warm enough that I could go outside with my jacket on to remove the rope lights I had on the balcony, wash them off & then put them away for another year. This is the second year in a row that I was beginning to un-decorate on boxing day. If it was too cold I wouldn't have bothered but it was nice out so I even wiped down the railing while I was at it. We had a windy day on Christmas Eve ... everything's nice & calm now. Hope you all enjoyed a warm & wonderful holiday season!

Yesterday we had 43F(6C) and sunny. A few bees were venturing out from the hive.
Today we had snow and above freezing temps. Later in the day some rain came through. At 8.30p, I got out for a mile walk with a 29F(-1.6C) temp and a heckuva breeze. Windchill!

2 C (36F), light rain. We have had snow, but not much, and most of it has gone already. I've only had to fire up the snowblower once, and that was a month ago.

Wet but not very cold - long range forecasts say we can dip just below zero Celcius - not going to be very cold to bring in the new year. Happy New Year everyone!

75F this afternoon. I think it was around 45F last night.
I can just hear the greens getting ready to bolt. Maybe it's my imagination. Lol.

We're supposed to get up to around 9 Celcius - which is a few over what's normal. Windy & rainy heading our way - maybe later today or tomorrow. They said that we had one of the driest Decemebers in recorded weather history - interesting.

Heck, it's 34F out here right now and cloudy. Was sunny earlier. I've been outside and I'm not complaining! I peaked under the strawbale in my cottage garden and saw a couple earwigs.

Sunny today! ;D Supposed to be in the mid 30's today (F). We have about 5 inches or so of snow on the ground. Typically we're buried by now.

Strat-you growing earwigs? Hi, Catgrass. Apparently, I am. Yesterday, we had sun in the morning, then it clouded up. Saw 53F(12C) at my place and 54F in the car! Bees were coming out of the hive, for sure. I was back outside in shorts and got 2 miles (3.2km) of walking in. Last night at 3a, we still had 38F and this morning 40F with a few flurries. I'm loving these above-freezing temps!

Well, we had a very very nice couple of last few days. Cost me less to heat the greenhouse. I am glad.

Around 40F or so right now. But that's all supposed to change by later tomorrow. Snow is on the way! The weather guy said we could get 4-8 inches. Guess I better get my back ready for the shoveling! ;D

Today is filled with lots and lots of rain with possible T-storms later today. That's ok though....here's hoping next week is nicer after I get some studying done. I did manage to get some seeds ready to send to a friend and of course now that I've found this site..I'm a little addicted. Nofear, I just saw your website, and I must say I think it's going to be beneficial to might I add a hearty thank you. Between your site and the one strat referred me to I am bound and determined to have a successful year with herbs .

Yeah, when I left work today, the readout on my mini-van said it was 51F!!! Beautiful!!! Hopefully you guys won't get too much of the white stuff tomorrow. We usually get a good load being close to the Lake MI lake shore and all. I don't mind. We've had a pretty good one so far! ;D

Our high today is supposed to be around 55, and our low tonight will be in the mid-upper 20's. Our first REAL cold weather. Only gonna be cold a couple of days, and next week we'll be back in the 60's-70's again! Will be dragging the potted plants back inside again.

Similar to Catgrass's weather.
Yesterday was 75F. This morning is mid 40's with heavy wind. Wind chill is mid 30's. High today should be low to mid 50's with temps projected at 31F tonight. Since every time they have forecasted close to freezing the temp has gotten 3-5 degrees colder than projected, we might hit the high 20's F tonight.
The tomato seedlings were outside on the mini greenhouse getting a real wind workout. I went ahead and brought them in for today/tonight, as I figure a little low light would be better than trying the mini greenhouse in this wind.
