At least four lines of t-storms went through during the night. Half inch of rain. We were warned of damaging hail by dawn but that has not happened yet. Several more big blobs of red on the weather map coming this way. Thunder and lightening all around as I get ready to go to my one-day-per-week job at the newspaper. At least two-three inches of rain predicted and snow again on Thursday.

The next line through dropped a little pea-sized hail. Hope that's it.

Hope you're done with it Paul.
Still in 70's at 6:15PM. Wind picked up pretty good today. The larger zuchinni plants are riding the wind waves. Looks like we might get a storm tonight from the look of things. Need to dry out some more before getting more rain. Onions and corn are getting a fair amount of yellow on the lower outside leaves.

Our day started out sunny and cool. Before suppertime, we had some rain with sleet mixed in. Then we had a thunderstorm blow through and drop about an inch of rain. There's a little water standing on my back lawn again.
The forecast for Thursday/Thursday night is calling for heavy rains and a chance of severe weather. We're currently under a Flood Watch. At least Thursday's temperature is supposed to get up to 68F.
Glad you didn't get any big hail, Paul. I see there's a Tornado Warning in Oklahoma now. Be safe everyone.

From drought to deluge: Tonight parts of central Mo have received up to 6" of rain by radar estimates. Now flooding is starting on the Missouri River and Mississippi Rivers. Fortunately I am located more than 200ft higher than the base elevation where the Kansas and Missouri River meet. So far I've only received about 1" of rain here but looks like more is on the way.

KC, I see you have the wunderground.com radar with the arrows that let you know when parts of a storm will arrive. I see some mesocyclone (rotation) symbols on the image. These radars really come in handy for us outdoor types and when severe weather is coming.

A little to the north of KC, yesterday and last night we got 3.41" of rain; a cold rain, but no new snow. Some flooding in NW Missouri. Hoping that the drought is broken. I hear my tomatoes and peppers in the basement hollaring that they want to go outside and play in the dirt.

Well, looks like we will be 80+ today. The long range forecast shows there will be no late frost this year!

I was awakened this morning to my Weather Radio going off announcing a Tornado Watch for Saginaw Bay and the county south of us, so that's five miles away. It's currently 49F out and we already had loads of rain in the night. The radar estimate has us at 1.5-2" so far. My crawlspace was really flooded this morning and I was glad I added 5O' of hose yesterday to the sump pump to get the water away from the house. I haven't scared up the rain gauges yet to put out at Mom's place and mine. As we have a shot at snow showers in the mix for Friday/Friday night, I'd probably leave the gauges out overnight and break them as has happened countless times before.

We're at 41F with a Wind Advisory. My hat blew off. The wind chill is ~30F. Within the hour, we had some graupel (snow pellets) which I prefer to sleet (ice pellets).

Winter just doesn't want to let go. We still had snow flurries flying in the air occasionally today. Only got up to around 43F. Tonight, we could drop to 13F! At least we're not in the Upper Peninsula. The winter storm total over 36 hours was a foot of new snow in some places; 21" in a few others.

We're at 28 degrees right now. Forecast is calling for 60 on Monday. I sure hope they're right. I need some warm weather. Winter is getting real old.

Brr, here I was going to fuss that it was cold tonight at 45' as our low. Been down here so long, that I forget that spring comes much later for our northern friends. So, I won't mention how nice it is this week with the highs in the upper 60's and low 70's.

We only dropped to 19F this morning so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Yeah, Izit, this spring is really coming on late. We should hit 58F Monday then downhill Wednesday to 48F. Back up to 58F by Saturday.
