had many flowers but no pods Assuming that you still have the plants, be patient. If you had flowers, you will most likely have pods. Bean flowers are self pollinating.

hairymooseknuckles, spike, @imp by Friday they will be in the mail. I'm mailing one a day just trying to stay under the radar. I put extra postage on as a safeguard. Haven't had a problem so far. They will take up to 3 weeks to get to you. You could have them in a week but some packages I've sent have taken 3 weeks, most 10 days. The seeds range in size as I didn't want to wait until all seed was harvested to select the biggest and best. I have 3 seeds left until the next batch is dry. I'll leave it to you guys to spread them around. This is why it's so important to have more than one person growing any given variety. The rest of the seed I manage to harvest will be spread around up here. Annette

I forgot to mention although this seed was taken from crispy dry pods and air dried for a few days it would be a good idea to take the seed out of their ziplocks and air dry them for another month or so before storing. The last packet went out Wednesday in case you want to take note of how long they're in the mail. Let me know when or if they arrive.

Just got those today!! Thank you! The padded envelope was scruffed up pretty bad, but not torn at all. Will plant these early this next spring and hopefully increase the stock of seeds.

Glad you finally got them @imp, firstly the seed spike sent got lost and now a pretty messed up envelope, good job it was a waterproof bubble envelope or these too would have been a bust. Annette

Cooked up a sample yesterday sorta following this recipe, vegankittypatrol.blogspot.com/2014/06/polish-stewed-beans-and-story-of.html I don't measure, added a bit of diced fried bacon. I halved and garlic buttered two hoagie buns, put under the broiler until they started to brown, took them out and spooned on the bean mixture, topped with grated cheddar and popped them under the broiler again until the cheese melted. Sprinkled with a little garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper, what can I say delicious.
These beans cook up tender and have a potato like consistency, they take up flavors very well, it's a keeper. I was going to put a little raw diced red onion in the mix but I forgot.
